After the build-up and the ceremony the final part of any wedding day is the wedding reception. This can be anything from a few family members in a small venue to a huge crowd in a marquee or even a castle!
This is the part of the day that most couples will have spent the most time (and money) on organising. This is where the real character of a couple will come out. There is the food to arrange and this might be a formal sit-down a buffet or a barbecue; or even a pizza oven.
There may be speeches to listen to and a cake to cut.
A couples ‘first dance’ is always a special moment but there may also be a few surprises along the way – maybe even a Stormtrooper!
I love the energy of a wedding reception, no matter the size or venue they are always filled with excitement and happiness. This is my favourite part of the day as I can be out of the way and get the best natural photos.
