Ewan was great and we loved the photos he took of the wedding. Everything was very easy and straight forward. Alot of people mentioned how lovely our photographer was and we agree! Ewan did the photos for my wedding in May and I couldn’t be happier with them. He was on time, made me feel really comfortable immediately and was just a joy to have on my special day. There were so many photos and it was such a nice touch being sent some printed. I think his service was amazing and very reasonable compared to other photographers. He obviously loves doing the job. I highly recommend him!

Ewan is an incredible photographer and, even more, a delightful person. He listened to everything we required for our wedding and went above and beyond.

He provided all of the photos in both digital format and on a USB, and allowed us to share with our family and friends the link to all the high-quality photos. We didn’t need a service to do that; he does it by default!

Ewan was excellent. His communication prior to the day was great. In the day, he fitted right in, always there catching special moments without being in any way intrusive. It was easy to forget he was there! The photos were marvellous – he really captured the fun vibe of the day and provided us with great shots of ourselves, family, friends and venue that we will cherish forever.

I had the absolute pleasure of using Ewan for our surprise engagement, and couldn’t be happier with the experience and the results! From the first email, he was responsive and helpful, helping me to pick a quiet location and time.

On the day itself, Ewan was a delight to be around. He made us feel completely at ease during the photo session after the surprise proposal which he played a blinder with, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. His eye for capturing beautiful, candid moments is truly exceptional, and the photos turned out better than we could have imagined.

The turnaround time for receiving the photos was also fantastic allowing us to relive the joy of the day so soon after it happened. We cannot recommend Ewan highly enough to anyone looking for a talented, personable, and highly professional photographer. He played such an important role in making our special day unforgettable, and we are so grateful to have found him!

Ewan was amazing. The pictures are stunning and the effort he puts in is tremendous. Attention to detail is fantastic. He’s very friendly and approachable and if there are any specific pictures you want taken he will happily oblige. Myself and my new wife can’t recommend this photographer highly enough. Ewan has a relaxed manner that helped us and our guests to feel relaxed, too. This meant that we had lots of photos that really captured the joy of the day, with some superb portraits of individuals as well as slightly more formal group pictures. We met him at our wedding venue in advance and that gave us a chance to discuss the kind of approach we were after, and he very much delivered on this – he’s also a good source of advice as he’s attended so many weddings over the years! Ewan exceeded all our expectations with the beautiful photos delivered so quickly after our wedding, along with a USB stick and some selected prints, all beautifully packaged. We have no hesitation in recommending him – we can’t imagine anybody else would surpass him for his friendly approach combined with fabulous photos.

Ewan met us at The City Chambers, for our ceremony and travelled around Edinburgh with us on a red bus tour, capturing various natural and staged shots of the wedding party.

Ewan had a relaxed and friendly approach. Everyone commented on how lovely he was. Ewan was non invasive, to the point my husband and I didn’t even realise he was there, at times.

It took 3 days for the edited photos to be ready to view and what a treat that was. The photos far surpassed our expectations and Ewan had captured the love and happiness, that was so evident throughout the day. It has been so enjoyable reliving the day through the images.

I wouldn’t hesitate to book Ewan again and would like to thank him for being such a big part of our special day.

We met with Ewan at our hotel early in the evening, it was dark and raining. But, Ewan couldn’t have caught the magic and beauty of our special moment any better. We had photographs in our hotel and out in the Edinburgh streets under the lights of the Castle. We had an amazing time. Ewan spent a good hour and half with us, and we never once felt rushed. He took his time with us, knew exactly how he wanted to capture a shot but also was quick to capture those wicked candid shots too.

We were absolutely delighted with the photographs, the quality of the images are absolutely amazing. The turnaround time was really quick too.

Ewan is an absolute lovely gentleman, a legend! We would most definitely highly recommend Ewan to anyone, for any occasion. Ewan’s work captures the very essence of a moment perfectly.

Wow what can I say? Ewan is fantastic. He captured the most beautiful photos of our wedding day. His cameras allow him to hover the other side of the room and capture very high quality close shots. He knew exactly where to be and who to focus on for each moment. Highly recommended!

We recently used Ewan for our wedding at Carlowrie Castle. We were really impressed with his snaps from the day! He was incredibly flexible with his approach, and friendly throughout our consultations as well as the day itself. His fees were as fantastic as his level of service. Included in the price was a USB with all edited images from the day, as well as a number of printouts and access to all photos online for our own use. We booked Ewan quite late in the day for a wedding and found him to be incredibly accommodating. We had asked for the photos to be quite natural and he delivered exactly what we wanted. He edited the photos and sent to us in a very swift manner. While we were on honeymoon we came back to a lovely gift box with the USB. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ewan and must thank him again for everything.

An absolutely incredible experience with Ewan! Coming from a different country into Scotland, Ewan made our proposal feel so special and captured the perfect moment without being noticed! He was so kind and walked around after the proposal to take our pictures in the park nearby. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I came across Ewan’s services when looking for someone to shoot our elopement in Edinburgh. I was blown away by his reviews, the aesthetic of his portfolio and his feel-good personality that was beautifully translated through our email communication. Fantastic service, delighted with the photos. Communication was great throughout and on the day Ewan was so accommodating. We had a small intimate wedding at the city chambers, Ewan had some great suggestions for photos/location. We are so pleased with the outcome of all the photos, plenty of choice! Lots of natural candid photos too which are great.

We selected Ewan for our very intimate wedding based on his competitive prices and extremely swift communication from our very first enquiry. We met via zoom to chat through what we were looking for and instantly knew we wanted him to photograph our special day.

Ewan was really grand! We proposed on top of King Arthur’s hill and he made sure to take the most stunning photos I have ever seen. He even helped me plan it and made sure not to give anything away by being inconspicuous and blending in with the crowd at the top. If you want great quality photos from a really cool guy, hire Ewan!

Like all arrangements you have to make there is so many options out there. This was definitely up there as one of our best. We had Ewan as our wedding photographer in July 2018. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He was so easy to get along with and made everyone feel so relaxed, we often didn’t even know he was there, he was able to take the most amazing photos without us realising.
